Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering (TKMCE), founded in 1958, is the first government aided engineering institution in the private sector in the state of Kerala, India and is one among the most reputed technical institutions in India. The college is located at Kilikolloor, six kilometers away from town of Kollam in southern Kerala. The foundation stone was laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the erstwhile
President of India on 3 February 1956. The College is affiliated to the University of Kerala.
Consistently only the top rank holders of kerala common entrance exam are admitted to the college and hence the intellectual capital and standard of education is one of the best in the country.The excellance in the field of technical education which it has gained from a long 50 years of experience, an incredible faculty and infrastructure has established it as one of the top 3 most preferred engineering colleges in Kerala by entrance takers for dacades.- Branches
